Congratulations to
Christina Angelus for making the 2007 SJGSL Select team in her age
bracket(U-12). She will be competing this summer in 4 Tournaments
including the Pocono Cup in Pennsylvania and the Seaside Classic in
Rhode Island. Great Job Chrissy! Represent the Riptide well.

Congratulations to Shauna Hendrickson and Casey Mauger
for making the SJGSL Select Team in their age bracket.
They will be competing throughout the summer in 4 Tournaments, including

The following email was received by Bill O'Connell:

|
Hi Bill, I am the coach of the Lacey Wildcats, U14 girls. We played against the Divas last Saturday at your home field. I am having trouble this year with numbers on my team, and ended up playing this game with 9 girls.
I would just like you and your club to know that the coaches of this team could not have been more fair with this situation. They were wonderful. They afforded us every bit of courtesy that was possible. Even after the game I was in the WAWA with 3 of my players and one of the players from the Diva's was in there & again she made it a point to say "good game guys" to my girls.
I would just like to commend the Pineland Divas along with their coaches and your club because in this day and age it is so rare to see such a show of good sportsmanship.
