MINUTES FROM MARCH 6, 2007 MEETING

Meeting called to order @ 7:30pm by Ron Pavia

Secretary’s report:

Meeting notes from February approved by John Hart and seconded by Mike Angelus.

Treasurer’s report:

No report on hand.

Vice president of recreation:

Sign up’s went very well. If there is any child that would like to sign up still they can but there is a late fee of $15.00. The parent’s are not to leave there children at the field’s alone, if they need to leave they are to tell the coach. The shirts should be ready in 1to 11/2 weeks. They are still looking into the F-license clinic.

Vice president of traveling:

Position still open.

All the times are posted on the web site. They went over referee fees. There should be a spread sheet made up and each coach should have one. If there is a break or a forfeit it need’s to be made no later then that Tuesday night. They are still trying to figure out what fields will be used for each practice. There is a total of 10 traveling teams, 4 coaches were not present at this meeting. Each coach should also hand in a roaster.

Quartermaster:

We are trying to supply soccer balls for every child; we are waiting for a call back from Wal-Mart to see if they will be donating the balls to us. We are also working on getting extra ice packs and pennies for the teams. There also was talk about a coach’s clinic

And summer soccer camp and that’s for all soccer leagues.

New business:

Division 1 the coaches are the referee’s, in division 2 we have one referee and in division 3 we also have one referee.

The referee for division 2 is Max. The referee for division 3 is Amanda. Max spoke with the coaches and explained what he wants, if there are any problems with the parent’s getting out of line he is to go to the coach and they will talk to that person and if they keep it up then they will be asked to leave the park. It was also said that the children should not wear jeans because of the medal zipper and the girls should not wear any jewelry. The children have to wear cleats if the fields are wet and shin guards at all times!

They are also making a phone call to Vickie about Freedom Field.
