MINUTES FROM SEPTEMBER 5, 2006 MEETING

Meeting called to order @ 7:35 PM by Jason Nass.
Secretary’s Report:
Meeting minutes from June 6, 2006 were approved as read with a motion from Antony and seconded by Julio.
Treasurer’s Report:
Treasurer’s Report was approved as read with a motion from Antony and seconded by John.
Vice President of Recreation:
Coaches, please call your old rosters for the last registration. The last registration is this weekend. After the last registration at 2PM coaches will be asked to create their teams. Saturday September 9 11AM to 1 PM & Sunday September 10 from 12PM to 2PM. We need one coach for Division Two and Three. If you need equipment please see Jason.
Please make sure that every coach contacts every parent even if it takes numerous tries. Also, DO NOT LEAVE any child unattended on the field. Encourage all parents to stay on the field. If they leave for any reason, they must take their child with them. We are not a babysitting service.
Vice President of Traveling:
Tuesday and Wednesdays will be the days for the trainers. Monday nights are still open. Schedules for the season are now posted on the website. The only team that is not finalized is Julio’s. Freedom Fields cane be used by the traveling teams. Practice schedule Tuesday: Extreme, Panthers, Lightning w/ trainers. Wednesday: Warriors, Riptide w/ trainers. Thursday Lightning, Warriors, Panthers w/trainers. Friday: Riptide, Wave, and Extreme.
Quartermaster:
Lighted field is closed until September 20th due to poor field conditions.
Old Business:
Spaghetti Dinner is scheduled for Sunday, October 15th from 5PM to 8PM. All recreational and traveling coaches are urged to get help from their teams.
New Business:
Lacey Soccer Club has made a claim about Player Poaching. You cannot approach a carded player to play for you during the season. The coach can have their license suspended.
Several positions will be vacant for the upcoming year. President, Treasurer, and Secretary. If you are interested, please make your intentions knows.
