MINUTES FROM JUNE 6, 2006 MEETING

Meeting called to order @ 8:00 PM by Troy Yaede

Secretary’s Report:

Meeting minutes from May 2, 2006 were approved as read with a motion from Patty and seconded by Jason.

Treasurer’s Report:

Treasurer’s Report was unavailable for review.  Tabled until next month.

Vice President of Recreation:

Spring Season is over.  Jason thanked all of the coaches for their time and talent that they gave to PSA. 

Fall registration dates have been set for the following dates:

Saturday August 12 11AM to 1 PM & Sunday August 13 12PM to 2 PM

Friday August 18 from 6PM to 8PM & Saturday August 19 from 11AM to 1PM

Saturday September 9 11AM to 1 PM & Sunday September 10 from 12PM to 2PM

Flyers will be set to all elementary schools in the area as well as the summer camp through UK Elite.  Coaches are urged to call their players to encourage them to come out to the camp.

Spring trophy party was discussed at length by all recreational coaches.  The coaches decided that they would like to do their own party for their team.  PSA will give each coach $50 to purchase ice cream or pizza for their teams.  After the last game in Sunday the coaches can hand out the trophies and then head off to their parties.  The Board did not feel comfortable leaving Jason to man a barbeque by himself when all the other Board Members were away for the weekend at tournaments.
