MINUTES FROM FEBRUARY 7, 2006 MEETING

 Meeting called to order @ 7:35 PM by Troy Yaede

Secretary’s Report:

Meeting minutes from January 2006 were and approved as read.

Treasurer’s Report:

Bill is still working out the year end paper work.  If you would like to see the rough numbers you can see Bill after the meeting and he will discuss it with you.  Hopefully by the March meeting he will have everything up to date and ready for review.  Please make sure that anyone taking checks for registrations that the child’s first and last name and phone number appear somewhere on the check.

Vice President of Recreation:

Jason needs the names of any and all coaches for the upcoming recreational season.  March 19^th will be our first game as long as everything goes well.  Coaches, please call your last season’s roster for registrations.  Last registration will be on Sat. March 4^th from 11 AM to 1 PM and Sun. March 5^th from 12 PM to 2 PM.

Vice President of Traveling:

SJ Girls (Riptide) moved up to America Division they are ranked 17^th.  There is a mandatory coaches meeting on February 21^st.  Mike has all the game schedules for most of the traveling teams.  They will be posted on the web shortly.  The JC schedules are up and so are the referee fees.  We will not pay the entire fee if there is only one referee.  They should get the center and ½ of the side.  OC Rec.’s meeting is scheduled for Monday February 13^th.  The U13 Boys had an indoor tournament and they did a really great job!

Quartermaster:

Lighted field will be closed.  We can use the Freedom Fields for games only. 

Old Business:

Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 11^th and 12^th.  Meeting will take place after this one.

New Business:

Motion was made to buy balls for the clinic and a special reversible shirt.  The motion was made, it was seconded and everyone voted in favor of this motion.  Size three balls will be ordered.

Motion made by Julio to adjourn the meeting @ 8:10 PM and seconded by Pat.
