MINUTES FROM JANUARY 3, 2006 MEETING

Meeting called to order @ 7:35 PM by Troy Yaede

Secretary’s Report:

Meeting minutes were unavailable from the last meeting.

Treasurer’s Report:

The report was unavailable.  Dec. and Jan. reports will be at the Feb. meeting.

Vice President of Recreation:

Coaches from last season are reminded to call the players in their rosters for the upcoming spring registration.

Signs for registrations and for the soccer camp will be ordered and purchased.

Flyers will be created and sent out to the elementary schools.  This will be handled by Vicki.

Spring Sign ups are as follows:  All registrations will be at Tip Seaman Park Pavilion.

Sat. Jan 28 11AM to 1 PM and Sun. Jan 29 12PM to 2PM

Fri. Feb 3 6PM to 8:30PM and Sat Feb 4 11AM to 1PM

Sat Mar 4 11AM to 1PM and Sun Mar 5 12PM to 2PM 

There also will be a Clinic for 4 year old players this spring.

Vice President of Traveling:

All leagues monies are due for the spring season.  MOSA is Jan.8^th online.  Jersey Coast is today. If you do not have your registration money in, you will not receive checks for referee fees.   Bill will let Mike know about which teams will be in Ocean County Rec. for the next meeting.

The gym is open for any traveling or recreational team on Mon., Wed., and Fri.  Traveling teams have first shot.  Must keep the gym areas neat and clean or we will lose the privilege to use it in the future.  Please contact Mike A. if you are interested.

Also, open to all is the Kicks at the Spectrum.  This will be held on Feb. 18^th.  $15 a ticket starts at 7Pm.  Contact Mike A. if you are interested.

Quartermaster:

Old Business:

Tournament meeting is scheduled for Wed. January 11^th at the Tuckerton Pub.

New Business:

We are going to have trainers from UK Elite.  These trainers are different from those we had in the past.  We will have access to multiple trainers and if we don’t like a trainer, they can be replaced easily.  We only pay for the training sessions that we use.  We will put half down at the beginning of the season, and we will pay the balance, once we know how many training sessions we used.  We need the traveling coaches’ schedules, and we are in the process of setting up training sessions for the coaches.  This will begin the first week in April.

Camp is scheduled for July 31 through August 4^th.  This will also be through UK Elite.  It will run from 5 to 8:30 every evening.  This is open to the traveling and recreational players.
