If any traveling coaches need referee fees, please see Bill before the end of the meeting. No checks will be issued unless all registration fees are in. If you are in need of anything, please see Mike Angelus for information or help.Vice President of Recreation:Season is underway. All Game day schedules have bee completed. Please pick up a copy of your division’s schedule. If you need copies of the schedules for your parents, please let Vicki know and she will copy them for you. Please also take a packet of information. This packet has our general guidelines, Division rules, and some games, drills, and skills that you can use during practice. Please encourage good sportsmanship with your players and parents. Please also be reminded that you are not allowed to cancel games on Sunday. Games are cancelled only through the Board. Please check the hotline after 10AM. You are responsible to call your parents if you cancel practice sessions only. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact a Board member. There will always be a Board member on the field on game day.Quartermaster:If you need equipment, please contact Tony or Steve. They will get the players’ shirts and balls out to you.Old Business:Jon Ackers will be here to assist you during your practices. He will be concentration on Division Two. If he is able to schedule Division One or Three teams, he will. If you ever have any questions, please just ask. He will be holding several clinics, please encourage your players to participate.The Roast Beef Dinner scheduled for Saturday, October 9, from 5PM to 9PM has been cancelled due to the renovations at the Legion. I apologize for the inconvenience.New Business:We received a thank you from Anthony a 6th grader who received a “scholarship” from our club. We also received a letter from Victor Crawford the coordinator of the 6th grade ceremony in Bass River, thanking the club for our scholarships to two of their students as well.Bill O’Connell made a suggestion to stop purchasing balls for the players every season. Many ideas were shared among the coaches. Some ideas were an exchange program, only new players receive balls or moved to a different division, sponsors can cover the cost of the balls and their names can be on the balls (as in the case of the shirts), raise the registration fee to $55, and to buy in larger quantities to lower costs. A discussion took place and Bill suggested that at this time, the club should think about it and revisit this issue in an upcoming meeting.Sandi Johnson made a motion to purchase 1000 patches, and Troy Yaede seconded the motion.
