MINUTES FROM AUGUST 3, 2004 MEETING

Meeting called to order @ 7:32 PM by Vicki Landolf

Meeting minutes from April, June, and July  2004 reviewed.

Minutes approved on a motion from Jason and seconded by George

Treasurer’s Report:

Report is not available at this time.

Vice President of Recreation:

Div 1= 32 kids, Div 2 = 25 kids, Div 3 = 14 kids

Every coach must call their players from last season to encourage them to sign up

Remind the parents there will be another sign up on August 14th

Also, one more sign up will occur, date to be determined (TBD). Tentative date will be Sept 11th, 10-1:00 Location TBA

Sept 12th @ 5PM coaches will pick teams at Vicki Landolf's house; 14 St Claire Dr. Mystic Island (behind the community center)

October 9th, Roast Beef dinner from 5-8pm will be held at the American Legion. PRICE: $10.00 per head

Vicki Landolf is looking for volunteers, if interested, please contact her. 

Vice President of Traveling:

Mike Angelus was not present.

Vicki said Flight Nights was a big success

MLS camp is scheduled for Aug 9-13th

Quartermaster:

Reminder: Equipment must be returned to Vicki, Steve or Tony

Old Business:

Lights in parking lot will be turned on in late August

Dribble pass and shoot U10, Derek Milton placed first on August 22nd. He will be competing in Old Bridge next GOOD LUCK Derek!

New Business:

Div 1 fields will be expanding to 75x125. Goals will remain the same size.

Div 3 coaches request larger fields: This issue will be discussed at length during the next meeting.

Trainer will be more focused on Div 2 kids. Trainer's schedule will be decided by President O'Connell, but as always he welcomes everyone's inputs.

All coaches present picked schedule, time, and date.

Motion made by George to adjourn the meeting @ 8:25 PM and seconded by Jason.
