MINUTES FROM JUNE 1, 2004 MEETING

Meeting called to order @ 7:40 PM by Bill O’Connell

Meeting minutes from April and May 2004

Minutes approved on a motion from Antony Lewis and seconded by Chris Stephenson

Treasurer’s Report:

Treasurer’s report will be available in July.

Vice President of Recreation:

MLS trainers will be working the Dribble pass and shoot.

Coaches highly encouraged to push and educate the parents on MLS soccer camp information.

Every coach needs to have parents sign up on food and drink list.

Coaches are encouraged to distribute flyers throughout different towns

In the fall a Roast Beef dinner is planned to be held at the American Legion

Rec coaches must rank players and send email list to Vicki Landolf

All coaches must turn in equipment by the last game

President, Bill O’Connell asked for input on Div 1 field size (as of date, majority of members would like to increase field size)

Vice President of Traveling:

Mike Angelus requested forms and money from coaches for advertisement signs located at the soccer field

August 1, 2004 all rosters are due

Kelly Nadeau was welcomed as a new coach for U13. All members welcomed her whole heartedly and President O’Connell thanked her personally for stepping up to the plate

Quartermaster:

All equipment must be turned in by the last game to Vicki, Steve or Tony

Old Business:

Roast Beef Dinner plans need to be worked out, all ideas are welcomed

Dribble, Pass and Shoot, spread the word and flyers. Let’s try for maximum participation!

New Business:

Coach Andy submitted a report on Pinelands Soccer Association. There is one copy available, which will be located in the Secretary’s binder for viewing.

President O’Connell announced he will not run for President in 2005.

President O’Connell requested to have coaches submit their opinion/ideas regarding trainers for Spring 05. Should PSA stay with MLS or switch to another company? Brings opinions/ideas to next meeting.

Motion made by Antony Lewis to adjourn the meeting @ 8:25 PM and seconded by Chris Stephenson..
