Meeting called to order @ 7:35 PM by Bill O’Connell

Meeting minutes from March 2, 2004

Minutes approved on a motion from Bill O'Connell and seconded by Pat McGee

Treasurer’s Report:

Treasurer’s report will only be provided to member's who request it.

Vice President of Recreation:

Division 1 Parents pleases with new field size.

New Board at field will contain posted schedules.

Vice President of Traveling:

Profession Metro Stars trainer has arrived. Group welcomed Jon Achers then Jon introduced himself.

Mentioned the trainer has a schedule and will need to adhere to it.

If it rains, practice will be conducted indoors at the Middle School.

If games get rained out the make-up games must be rescheduled with in two weeks.

Any questions or issues regarding referee's need to see Mike Angelus or Vic Moore

Quartermaster:

Quarter Master, Steve Kohler, provided samples of new uniform.

Uniforms will be available by the end of the month.

Ice Packs and Pinny's are available.

Old Business:

Traveling Team will get 2 signs to sell on billboard. Single color signs.

Extra spaces will be sold and money will go into the General Fund.

Information about board and benches were put up as an Eagle Scout project.

Fields will be labeled and assigned.

Two part motion regarding traveling team folding finalized. Motioned by Cathy Errico and seconded by Joe Pomponio.

ALL agreed league reps MUST turn in money 1 month prior to league deadline.

New Business:

Metro Stars Game is planned for 15 May @ 7:30. Everyone is highly encourage to attend. 

Freedom Fields are open .

Parents and coaches are asked to keep board members aware of the restroom situation, i.e. toilet paper, etc.

MLS training and summer evening camp is scheduled for Aug 9-16 from 5:30-8:30 at PSA. $105.00/week.

Children will receive a shirt, ball and ticket to a Metro Stars game. AGES 4-12 Years old.

Ages 8 and up= 3 hours of training per night. Brochures will be forthcoming through Mike Angelus.

On June 11-13 there will be the Cohansey Soccer Tournament near Piles Grove for U8-U10 for the recreational level.

May 8th there will be a fund raiser dinner at the Americal Legion. It will be a spaghetti dinner. Flyers will be provided soon. Fun will be had for all who attend.

HELP WANTED: PSA is in search of a coach for GIRLS U13 (age 11,12,13) Cathy Errico has a group of girls ready to go for Jersey Coast.  Will post on PSA website.

Motion made by Vic Moore to adjourn the meeting @ 9:35 PM and seconded by Antony Lewis. Yeah.
