MINUTES FROM NOVEMBER 4, 2003 MEETING

Meeting called to order @ 7:45PM by Bill OConnell

Meeting Minutes from October 7, 2003. 

Minutes approved on a motion from Jason Nass and seconded by Joe Pomponio.

Treasurer’s Report:

Motion to accept Treasurer’s Report made by Cathy Errico and seconded by Jason Nass.  $5,860 is still owed to MLS.  We still need to take out of some traveling teams accounts for registration fees.  The $120 marked as unassigned on the report goes to the America’s Fest.  We are refunding some of the sponsors who took our ad in our tournament booklet.  We need to examine Cathy Errico’s traveling team account.

Vice President Traveling:

We are short on referees, so you have to make do with what we have.  If you know anyone who might be interested in becoming a referee, please contact a Board Member.  We need to find out how old the referees have to be to solve the problem of the age differences between the players and the referees.  When we forwarded the directions to our fields to the State, we also included that no pets are allowed on our fields.

Vice President of Recreation:

The fall season went well.  The fall trophy party will be held on Dec. 7^th.  The club will supply the pizza and we have asked the parents to bring in soda, snacks, and paper products.  We need all coaches to bring their equipment to the trophy party.  Steve Kohler is going to start a U8 girls’ traveling team.  He will hold try outs.  We are also holding an F license course.  If you are interested, please contact a Board Member.  We need 30 people to sign up for this two day class.

Quartermaster:

Progress.

Old Business:

We are still waiting to hear back from the local schools for their availability for indoor practice.

New Business:

We will discuss training at the next meeting.  The next meeting will be on December 2, 2003.

Vice President of Recreation: Vicki Landolf

Treasurer:  Kelly Schnepp

Quartermaster (2 positions):  Tony Gravato

Secretary: Vicki will do it until we find someone

Carry over nominations for the next meeting for final nominations.

Motion made by Jason Nass to adjourn the meeting @ 9:30 PM and seconded by Cathy Errico.
