For next month’s meeting, all traveling funds will be transferred whether rosters are paid in full or not. We need to do this to pay MLS. Checks still will not be issued if any rosters are not paid in full. Need to close out the Screaming Eagle Fund. Board agreed to increase the referee fees for rec. from $12 to $15.Vice President Traveling:Those who wish to participate in the Cohansey Tournament for Recreation players U6 to U12- must have their registration fees in by May 12th. The price is $250 for the weekend. Everyone who attends receives a participation awardTraveling Coaches- Please set the example to your players and parents- DO NOT yell at the referees. We have a shortage of referees now, please don’t make it worse.MLS Soccer Camp is set for August 11-15th. Troy will be out during the June 1st games with flyers.Dribble, Pass, and Shoot has been secured for June 15th from 12 PM to 3 PM. This is the same day scheduled for our Rec. Trophy Party.Due to the weather the traveling teams are in need to schedule make-up games. We need to coordinate with the recreation coaches so that the recreation coaches can move their practices if they need to. It will be the responsibility of the traveling coaches to contact the recreation coaches if any changes need to be made.Vice President of Recreation:The Recreation Soccer program is going well aside for the weather. The trainers are also working out very well with all the recreational teams. At this point in the season, all recreation teams should have a trainer at least once a week.Pictures are scheduled for Sunday May 18th. All recreational coaches will be notified when their team picture is scheduled. Please make sure that your team is in full uniform and on time! You will play your game after your pictures are finished.Please make sure that all players have shin guards and no jewelry of any kind.Quartermaster:The parking lot will receive another layer of asphalt and stone.Old soccer trailer will be moved by hockey rink.Please stress to your parents and players to take care of the new bathroom facilities. If they are not taken care of, they will be locked.Old Business:Dribble, Pass, and Shoot will be June 15th. Flyers will also go to traveling coaches for this event. Any help that anyone can offer for this event would be greatly appreciated.America’s Fest Tournament we have secured to host for Sept. 20th and 21st. We will have a committee meeting sometime this month to discuss the details.New Business:If anyone is interested in Metro Stars tickets as a fundraiser, please contact Troy or Bill.Scavenger Hunt will not happen this weekend, could not secure a location. We are now looking at a tentative date for May 31st.The GJMitchell School and Tuckerton Elementary School will both be available until May 12th. The GJMitchell School will not be available on Wednesdays.Please push the MLS Camp for the summer. Traveling teams can attend and coaches can request certain skills to be covered.May 24th is Steve and Dean’s last day. We have several hours that are owed to us. We can try to extend them for one more week. This will cost us money.Please encourage your players to come out to the clinics offered by Coach Dean on Wednesday nights.
