MLS Coach’s Club information is on the table for anyone who would like to join. MOSA and Jersey Coast are going well in spite of the weather. Any traveling teams that are using the schools’ gyms need to make sure that all trash is cleaned up. Also make sure that you and the visiting clubs clean up after themselves after the games as well.Vice President of Recreation:Thank you to all the coaches for their patience with adding and switching team players. For a smooth season, please make sure that we have all head coaches’ and assistant coaches’ phone numbers. Communication is the key to a successful season. Please be sure that schedules are handed out to all parents of your players, especially players who have parents who are divorced or separated. COACHES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO CANCEL ANY GAMES!!! If you cannot attend a game, please contact a Board member and someone will cover your team. Make sure you have an assistant coach to avoid this problem. This coming Monday, April 7th we will start training our recreation players. It has been suggested that each player have their name on their shirts so that the trainer can call them by their names. In case of bad weather we might be able to use the schools with the trainer. More information to follow. An issue surfaced about an injured player taking part in practices and games. As long as the doctor has signed a release form that the child can play, the child can, in fact, play. If playing the sport aggravates the injury more, then the child should not play until the injury is healed. Please use common sense.Quartermaster: ProgressOld Business:Saturday, May 10th will be the Scavenger Hunt. This will be held as our club’s fund-raiser. They have opted to buy their own uniforms.Attention all traveling teams- the club needs your list of sponsors. The township is placing a sign up of all of our sponsors. If we have a list, it will be a great reference to use in the future. We need to push the use of the web site and the business card sponsors, please do your part!Hosting the America’s Fest on Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st was brought before the meeting. It was suggested that the club should host this event. Every player would receive a participation award. All we need to provide is a minimum of 6 small-sided fields. A committee has been formed to work out the details.
