Meeting Minutes from August 6, 2002.
Minutes approved on a motion from Joe Pomponio and seconded by Bill McGuire.
Treasurer’s Report
Motion to accept Treasuers Report made by Joe Pomponio, seconded by Cathy Errico.
Vice President Traveling
Schedules for all the traveling teams are posted. We are having a referee shortage. There may be some schedule changes for OCL. Training schedules are set. We had four players @ Giants Stadium for the DPS competition. Camp went very well, some parents were disappointed with graduation, it was a little organized. Bill McGuire mention a Halloween tournament for Recreation kids. OCL referee fees have been raised to $20.00.
Vice President of Recreation
The final fall registration is going to be held on Sept. 7, 2002 at the Ocean County Library on Mathistown Rd. from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Picking teams on Sunday following.
Quartermasters
The large field is closed for the season.
New Business
The board introduced Steve Maker from MLS; he is the club trainer for the fall season. If you need to contact Steve for any reason please go through Bill or Troy.
Old Business
The state sent a letter requesting that we attend an Executive conference. The date is September 25, 2002. I will be attending. The Tip Seaman Park will be closed on September 7, 2002. A letter requesting attendance from the club for the 9-11 ceremony.
