Meeting Minutes from May 7, 2002

Motion to accept was made by John Wieckhorst, seconded by Barb Wilkinson

Treasurer’s Report

 Motion to accept Treasuers Report made by Jason Nass, seconded by John Wieckhorst.

Old Business

Barb Wilkinson presented to the club the amount of her donation for the 2002 spring season. The amount the donation is $1000.00. Barb also said that she would, if possible give a little more in the fall. The members in attendance applauded her generosity. We also finalized some of the plans for the DPS on June 16, 2002. We also discussed the training issue at hand. There was a motion put on the floor by Mike Angelus that all training be stopped as of June 7, 2002 and all money that was earmarked for training be carried over to next season. An audit of training records would determine the amount of training owed from spring 2002. The motion was seconded by John Wieckhorst then voted on by the members in attendance and a unanimous decision was in favor of the motion.

Vice President Traveling

Mentioned tournaments. Troy reinforced the importance of calling in game cancellations or rescheduling to your league reps and referee coordinator. Troy discussed the Metro Stars fundraiser and that the response was not that good as of yet. Anybody interested had to have the money in by June 2^nd.

Vice President of Recreation

Bill solicited ideas for trophies. Season was going well, and is very proud of all recreation coaches and people that are helping. Pictures went well and are looking forward to doing them next season.

New Business

Adam Wieckhorst presented to the club a project for building benches out at the rec complex. The membership voted unanimously to back the project.
