· Meeting called to order @ 7:35 by Bill OConnell
· Meeting Minutes from February 5, 2002
Motion to accept was made by John Wieckhorst, seconded by Sandi Johnson.
· Bill OConnell introduced the new board members to the membership present at this meeting.
· Chuck Ruoff was introduced to the membership. Mr. Ruoff spoke about him being a Liaison to the sports clubs in Little Egg Harbor. He also spoke about the County’s plans on their new facility and the future of the L.E.H. sports complex.
· Treasurer’s Report
The approval of the Treasurers report was tabled to April’s meeting due to the amount of errors and that Steve Sabo changed the format.
· Vice President Traveling
Troy reinforced calling Jersey Coast score to the designated Commissioner. He also had flyers for the MLS Camp on Aug. 12, 2002.
· Vice President of Recreation
All four registrations were completed preliminary number of kids is 170-180. The fact that we only had 17, 11-12 yr. old kids we were discussing traveling these kids to Manahawkin and Barnegat to play but there was a strong disagreement to this suggestion.
· Quartermasters
Paul Dellazanna discussed the purchase of balls for the Rec. kids, and passed out a sample ball.
· New Business
Bill McGuire passed on some information from MOSA, they are thinking of changing the flight arrangements for the fall 2002 season.
· Old Business
Dribble Pass and Shoot- Players and mascot from MetroStars are available for the June 16th.
There was more discussion of the raffle license.
The coach’s party was canceled due to short amount of time to prepare.
