New Business:
Mike Fromosky informed everyone that Louis Mendoza from the New Jersey Stallions would like to do a summer camp. The dates are still to be determined. There is a possibility that July 9th – 13th
will be available. Mike will let us know the dollar amount and definite dates at the next meeting.
Stan Stasewski questioned the board as to the status of the Pinelands Falcons. Mike Angelus informed the membership that the Falcons are not a part of P.S.A. and if they would like to become a traveling team of P.S.A., the coaches must make this request to the board.
John Wieckhorst informed the membership that the Referee Course will be held June 9th and 10th.
Will Sundermann advised the membership that he will send a memo to all High School players to inform them of the Referee Course.
Mike Angelus informed all the Recreation Academy Coaches to call the Soccer Hotline (294-0707) when they can not attend practice or games.
Will Sundermann thanked P.S.A. for developing the Vision Statement and for all the hard work to help better develop our players.
Bob Buono offered his expertise to develop a P.S.A. website. Thanks Bob!!
Mike Angelus informed the membership that WEB Imaging will be out in the next month or so to provide pictures to our Recreation Academy players and to offer all traveling teams picture packages. Mike will inform everyone as soon as dates are set.
Bob Peschko informed all traveling team coaches that the front field at Pinelands Middle School, closest to the administration building, is CLOSED. Please stay off this field on or about April 15, 2001. The PopWarner field with the lights on it will be closing. When the signs go up, please stay off. The only fields available will be the field on the hill next to the Pop Warner field and the softball outfield area.
Mike Angelus informed the membership of his concerns with our current treasurer that we are paying $100.00 per month. The main concern is that we have had three meetings without any representation for the Treasurer’s Report. If coaches had questions or concerns, no one is available to answer them. Mike also voiced his concerns about what had happened in the past to P.S.A. regarding audits. Mike highly recommended hiring professional services to provide P.S.A. the required bookkeeping services. The membership agreed that we should seriously look into this matter. Mike Angelus will investigate other options and report back to the membership at the next monthly meeting.
Motion to adjourn meeting - Frank Simon. 2nd
Motion - John Wieckhorst
